Role and Responsibilities
1. Ensure a consistent standard of customer service
2. Able to work quickly and independently
3. Dependable, reliable transportation Paint surfaces of vehicles using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques
4. Inspect panels to be painted for body repair, prepping and/or buffing defect
5. Mix to specified color using standard formulas or color charts
6. Sand, mask, blend, and polish finish to match surrounding areas
7. Using a brush, apply or retouch paint as necessary
8. Support Body Shop owner as needed
Additional Notes
Immediate responsibilities include and not limited to the following and will continue until reviewed by Operations Manager:
1. Commit to minimum of 12-15 number of vehicles complete each week between the standard business hours of Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Saturday 8:30am – 3:00pm
2. Expected numbers of vehicles to complete may be adjusted and “standard business hours” may vary during “hail season” 7:00am – 7:00pm.
Physical requirements: regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Ability to lift 1-15 pounds. Frequent exposure to toxic chemicals. Moderate noise level. Respirators must be worn, and other protective equipment may be required
Because we don't want team members to burn out from a commute, the candidates must live less than a 20-minute commute to Lubbock, 79424.
(Unfortunately, candidates further that 20 minutes will not be considered)

4. Thoroughly examine the vehicle damages
5. Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications
6. Remove vehicle trim to gain access to vehicle body
7. Can properly fill depressions with body filler and insure a quality repair
8. Able to remove damaged parts using power tools and cutting torch
9. Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment 10. Straighten bent automobile frames using frame wrack
11. File, grind and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
12. Aim headlights
13. Replace bolts on panels and align properly
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management
15. Able to develop appropriate and efficient methods for each job
